One of my daughters wasn't really in the mood for pictures this morning. This is the look she gives me when she gets a little "annoyed"...

His first Capri Sun. He sucked it down in less than 30 seconds. The first of many I'm sure.

Her hair is getting LONG.

She decided to "help" by washing the garage door. She took her job very seriously.

After the crazy day Ally and I had in Denver yesterday, I needed a quiet night on the driveway.

Its getting hot around here. This time next week, our pool will be open.

Griffin has become obsessed with the sand. He is covered every night :).

Sometimes I like to take pictures of something that is still(i.e. not my kids) :o)

Jami has some gorgeous hydrangia's. This time next week, they will probably in full bloom. I was a little early.

Our favorite books are "If you give a mouse a cookie", "If you give a cat a cupcake", "If you give a moose a muffin", etc, etc. My girls love them all.

Emma brought this home in her mothers day stack of crafts. I love it. Just replace the coffee with Diet Pepsi and this just about sums it up.

IF YOU GIVE A MOM A MUFFIN

If you give a mom a muffin, she'll probably want a cup of coffee to go with it.
She'll pour herself some.
The coffee with get spilled by her four year old.
She'll wipe it up.

Wiping the floor, she will find some dirty socks.
She'll remember she has to do some laundry.
When she puts the laundry in the washer,
She'll trip over some snow boots and bump into the freezer.
Bumping into the freezer with remind her she has to plan supper for tonight.

She will get out a pound of hamburger.
She'll look for her cookbook(101 things to make with a pound of hamburger)
The cookbook will be sitting under a pile of mail.
She will see the phone bill, which is due tomorrow. She will look for her checkbook.

The checkbook is in her purse that is being dumped out by her one year old.
She'll smell something funny. She'll change the one year old.
While she is changing the one year old the phone will ring.
Her six year old will answer it and hang up.

She remembers that she wants to phone a friend to come for coffee on Friday.
Thinking of coffee will remind her that she was going to have a cup.
She will pour herself some.
And chances are, if she has a cup of coffee,
her kids will have eaten the muffin that went with it.

It was supposed to rain all weekend, but the sun came out today and it was perfect. We spent all day outside. I'm discovering that one little boy likes to get dirty.

I was asking Daniel how all the other neighborhood girls stay so clean. Mine are filthy, every day. It doesn't seem to bother them one bit. Oh well, these muddy hands make me happy.
